HotPepper Agency
Chief Pepper Officer

Hi, I'm Chris. I don't do bland.

I've been ranking businesses on Google since 2006. I ran Full Scale SEO as CEO, and now I'm the founder of HotPepper, right here in St. Petersburg.

The story

Two storytellers walk into Google.

HotPepper started as a husband and wife team: a film industry professional turned SEO expert, and a musician turned content creator.

We used our love of storytelling to give Google the best content we could produce. We were active bloggers and publishers first, so the system we use on client sites is the same one we run on our own. We practice what we preach.

Before HotPepper, I ran Full Scale SEO as CEO. Clients kept getting great results, so we rebuilt the agency around one idea: more businesses deserve a team that treats their marketing like a chef treats a signature dish. Real ingredients, no shortcuts, and nothing leaves the kitchen bland.

Today the menu has grown. Search is no longer just ten blue links. People ask ChatGPT, read AI Overviews, scroll Instagram and tap the Map Pack. So HotPepper now cooks across all of it: local SEO, AEO, Google Business Profile, content, ads and social.

Every account still gets my eyes on it. I'll tell you what's working, what isn't, and what I'd do if it were my money.

House rules

No bell peppers.

Four rules every dish follows, no matter the size of the account.

Rule 1

Show every ingredient

You see the plan, the work calendar and the numbers. If something isn't working, you hear it from us first.

Rule 2

Local first

We optimize for the calls, bookings and walk-ins in your zip codes, not vanity traffic from places you don't serve.

Rule 3

Practitioners, not theorists

We run our own sites with the same system we use on yours. If it doesn't work for us, it doesn't go on your plate.

Rule 4

Honest timelines

Maps and ads move in weeks. Organic and AI visibility take months. We tell you which is which before you sign.
